problem solver

Throughout my years here in San Diego high school I have became a problem solver. I learned to come up with best solutions for my problems. Many of the classes I took in my high school years were not that easy to deal with but I always managed to find solutions to the problems I had in school. Many of the things I did were to stay after school and catch up with many of the things I did not understand. Not too long ago I stayed after school till about six o’clock to work on an essay I was having trouble with. I asked questions when I most needed them. I also would pay more attention in class so that I would avoid confusion and problems with my subjects. I also came up with the solution of taking better notes. Not only were my problems in class but also my time management I would for some reason I was always late but like any other human being I procrastinated. the solution that I came up for this was to take a city college for my first in which starts a bit more later than seven twenty-four am this has helped me solve my problem of always being late. Now I get to school on time prepared and ready to learn. A solution I have come up with for my procrastination is to being my work when the assignment is given to me. That way when I turn in my work it looks like I really have put thought in to it.

collaborative worker

Being a collaborative worker has been around for years now it has been taught to many as a young person, and in fact many of us have been doing it for years that when it comes to actually doing it at times we tend to forget or even notice that we are working and helping one another. Throughout my high school years I have been a collaborative worker. In which me and my peers have collaborate into doing many things for school whether it may be a book to a project. Many of the things I recall collaborating was in my class peer education in which we were put in groups of four and we were given the tasks of planning a lesson for the freshman in which the subjects were about risky behavior like binge drinking teen dating violence and std’s. In my group each and every one collaborated in planning and presenting out the lessons for the students. Many other things I have collaborated in were health fair in which in my class every student was given emails of people to contact to attend the fair. Not only collaborate work is done in projects but in simple stuff like books and homework. With books many can collaborate to get to understand the book in the beginning of a book we started to read many were put in groups and each group collaborated in to explaining each chapter’s significance and come to the conclusion of what the book might be about.

civic responsibilites

As I became an adult I had to go through more responsibilities in which I was given the choice to work. Of course I was excited to know I was going to work and everything was going to go swell for me but as it turned out it became another responsibility I need to deal with. I started to work as a janitor in Claremont cleaning offices having a job led me to started paying for my own things such as my senior stuff like prom cap and gown and much more. I also pay for my phone bills and other stuff like fixing my car. Becoming an adult also led me to the responsibility of putting my sisters car under my name in which I went to the DMV and put the car under my name pretty soon I well have to also start paying for my car insurance having a car also led me to getting my license in which I had to pay 31 dollars to take the written test. Not only have I paid for most of my stuff but I also have to do taxes this year I couldn’t do my taxes cause I really didn’t make that much but I know the concept of it and I have seen my sister do her taxes before. I have not yet voted but I have that in mind and know it well is just around the corner. I know that I well be voting for a president for my country and to vote for my rights as a citizen.

Throughout my high school years in SciTech I have learned lots of stuff about technology. I first learned about technology in my middle school years in which I first learned how to type and learn a little about using word documents. My advancement proceeded in my freshman year at high school. In which I learned even more stuff. Many of the things I learned were of course word document in which we were giving the tasks we do every day like writing essays for class. Following word document we also learned how to use excel in which really helped me for a job I had applied to in my junior year. From there we moved on to learning power point and there features from there we learned how to make our emails. Learning many things such as the power point led us to making slide shows and presenting them. Not only in my freshman year did I learn about technology but also in my bio medical class in which we had to work with medical instruments and be able to record our data and research. Many of the things we did in that class was to take each other’s pulse also our heart rates. In my senior year I also learned about Photoshop in my graphic design class in which Mr. Mike gave us the task of doing different projects we learn how to use stamp tools brush tools the pen tool layer masking and just basically how use the features Photoshop has.

Responsible learner

I have been a responsible learner throughout my high school years my credits have been made up and up to know I have been on track with my classes and getting good grades. I have had my ups and downs yet I have managed to become a responsible learner. Throughout my years I have always had problems with attendance and it has always interfered with my school. but like another human we make mistakes sometimes we can learn from them or not for me it has taken a while to be able to learn this semester I haven’t really been late I might have had a couple of absences but there is always a good reason for it. Throughout my high school year I had trouble at times understanding the subjects as the years went on I learned a way in which I was able to do better in class. One of the many was that I would stay after school so that my teachers can help me one on one to be able to understand. Other things that really helped me were things like sitting in front not sitting with people who could easily distract you and to take good notes. In the end I have learned to become a responsible learner from teachers and peers. I have learned that being on time and being prepared is helpful when being a responsible learner. Staying on task and not getting distracted also help you focus on work and helps you to be able to understand your homework.
